1. It is recommended that every mission have a back-up GM available. This back-up GM should be aware of the outline of the mission and any major details; this way, they can take over the mission in the event that the primary GM is unavailable, and also allow the GM to discuss ideas with them if they are having trouble determining what to post.
2. The general benchmark for the amount of rewards a player receives is 1 point (of any kind) per 5 pages of mission, to be divided among the number of players within the mission. Please note that this is a benchmark: the GM may give more, or less, rewards as they feel necessary, and how the total number of points is distributed, whilst ideally being equal among all players, is at their discretion.
3. Similarly, a GM receives 1 point (of any kind) per 10 pages of mission that they run, regardless of the number of players within the mission.
4. There are varying consequences a GM should observe when a player fails to post within a specified time limit. These time limits, and the consequences, vary by mission type.
ii. In site-wides, and missions of 4 or more players, the time limit is set at one week. In the case of absent players, the same consequence as in i holds.
iii. If a player notifies the GM that they will not be posting, posts in Absences, or has not been online since before the last deadline, the GM assumes a best case scenario and keeps the character safe and present until the player can post again.
iv. In all cases where there is more than one player, if the player withdraws from the mission, fails to meet the posting deadline several times in a row, or posts in Absences, the GM should place their character in a form of storage, separate from the main groups but available to rejoin the main mission if circumstances allow.[/ul]
5. Regardless of player actions, a GM should endeavour to post as soon as the time limit has elapsed. If they are having trouble or will be unable to post, they should either enlist the help of the back-up GM or notify the players as soon as possible. Exceptions can be made if players are having an important conversation between themselves; the GM should inform the players if they are extending the deadline.
6. Reward creative thinking and use of a player's skills.
