Gender: Female
Species: Epicanthix

General Appearance:
Suun, while taller than most other near-human females by comparison, is of average height for a female Epicant, at six feet and one inch tall. Her body type and shape are distinctly feminine, her physique firm and toned, befitting her Jedi past. Her skin is an indicator of non-human heritage, curiously pale and smooth. Breaking the unnatural uniformity of her skin, are various marks and blemishes, a result of frostbite scarring at the subdermal level. A telltale sign of Epicanthix genes are her small, angular eyes, which display iridescent shades in the green spectrum. Her hair, normally dyed blonde to disguise her heritage, has returned to its natural dark tones. Coming down to the height of her abdomen, Suun keeps it tied back in a high ponytail.
Her clothing is unassuming, worn for practicality, comfort and modesty. As such, her wardrobe consists of identical sets of Jedi tunics, dyed black with white trimmings, a standard flight suit, wears suited to archaeological digs, and lighter sets of casual clothing. When required, Suun will adopt the more formal Sith trappings, in the form of a thick charcoal hooded robe. Carrying nothing she deems unnecessary, Suun equips herself only with her standard field kit, her lightsaber, and a blaster pistol holstered at her hip.

Biography:
Born in 14 BBY at the height of the Galactic Empire's dominion, Suun is the only child of archaeologist Sebe Jul, and his wife Aeryn. A retired Jedi, hiding from the agents of the Empire, Aeryn passed on her Force Sensitivity to her daughter, who began to manifest her power in the Force at the age of five. Keeping her daughter's latent abilities a secret, Aeryn taught a young Suun the basic tenants of the Jedi Order, inspiring her to one day become a Jedi Knight, and help fight against Imperial tyranny. Instructed to keep her connection to the Force a private affair, Suun, ever eager and hungry for knowledge, threw herself into her education on Imperial Panatha. Frustrated at the prospect of keeping her Force Sensitivity hidden, Suun carried a great deal of anger with her at a young age, exacerbated by the Empire's anti-alien prejudices, present even on her home planet. Encouraged to be proud of her warrior's heritage, Suun bleached her hair a light blonde, to lessen the likelihood of teasing and prejudice as she transitioned into the local academy.
Delving into history, Suun ventured from the required readings authorized by the Empire, and studied historical texts surrounding the ancient Sith, and many pre-Republic cultures, fascinated with the eras before the Empire. In her second year, the Galactic Empire was overthrown, and quickly replaced with the New Republic. Though the threat of the Empire was gone, no Jedi remained alive to train her. Intent to settle for the next best thing to a Jedi historian, Suun followed her father's footsteps, enrolling in the Panathan Institute to study archaeology and history. Pursuing a career in the same field as Sebe, Suun often joined her father on digs until she discovered via the HoloNet, that a new Jedi Praxeum had formed on Yavin IV. Now determined more than ever to become a Jedi, Suun chartered a starship to take her to the jungle moon, in the hopes of being accepted into the nascent New Jedi Order.
A quick, impulsive, and quickly-frustrated study, Suun was apprenticed to the recently-appointed Jedi Master, Kyle Katarn. Deemed the most appropriate to instruct her, Kyle sought to temper her anger, having come close to ruination by the Dark Side himself. Under Katarn, Suun progressed to the level of Jedi Knight, though she often found her emotions difficult to control. At odds with her fellow Jedi, Suun clashed with the idea that the Dark Side was something to be shunned, and avoided. Instead, she believed it to be as useful as the Light Side, if studied and interpreted correctly. A disturbing prospect for the Jedi Masters, their concern grew when Suun began to share her thoughts and opinions on the matter with other Jedi. She was humbled by the horrific stories of fallen Jedi by Master Solusar, though she held firm to the idea that the Dark Side could be used as a force for good. With all other options exhausted, Katarn opted for an unconventional solution. Suun was indeed skilled enough and intelligent enough to become a Jedi Master. In this regard, Kyle believed that she was not in danger of falling to the Dark Side, and thought that with the responsibilities of a Jedi Master, Suun would learn humility, and gain the clairvoyance to see the benefits of the Force in balance. His fellow Masters warily agreed, warning Katarn the danger should he be wrong.
Taking to her new status as a Jedi Master well, Suun grew to be an adept practitioner of Ataru, and a skilled utilizer of Emerald Lightning. Having never truly abandoned the idea of the Dark Side being used for a noble purpose, she slowly started to question the rejection of its power once more, clashing with other Masters. In 16 ABY, events came to a head when Suun proposed the idea of a slow introduction of students to the Dark Side, rooted in the belief that with moderation and understanding, both aspects of the Force could be weilded without fear of corruption. It soon became clear to the young Jedi Master that her ideology clashed too fiercely with that of the Jedi Orders' and made the decision to leave the Order. Though disheartened, Katarn respected her decision, and saw her returned safely to Panatha. There, Suun resumed working as an archaeologist, and soon joined her father on an expedition to the battered, but recovering planet of Tund.
The once-ravaged planet had been repopulated by members of the dwindling Sith species, who sought a fresh start from the political warfare on Korriban. With the aid of the reformed Sorcerers of Tund, Suun ventured into the ruins of old, uncovering much of the desolate Sith society that once lived there. Fascinated by the Sith, she studied their language, culture and viewpoints on the Force. Making a home on Korriban, Suun found much peace of mind among the Sorcerors, who practiced a more liberal stance on the Force. Learning of the Sith concept that the Force, as the Jedi and Sith Orders interpreted it, were but two sides of the same coin, and that all beings walked between the Light and the Dark, only for most to wander into one side. Enraptured by their ways, Suun incorporated much of the Sorcerer's ideas into her own personal beliefs, and began to dabble in the Dark Side, though only in moderation.
During her time on Tund, she discovered a local mechanic, incredibly strong with the Force. A Sith male, Suun sought to meet with the young man in the hopes that she could train him. His guardian however, continually refused her requests, wary of both her status as a Jedi, and as an alien. Frustrated, Suun snuck into the mechanic's yard one day, and met with the promising Sith. The apprentice mechanic, named Karai Narat was also somewhat wary of Suun, though in time, he began to understand that she was more than the sum of her parts, and was left curious by her offer. He would come to accept her proposal, and left Tund with her, to become her Padawan.
Bestowing her beliefs upon the man, she noted that despite his lack of formal training, he was still a remarkable individual, admiring both his potential, and his attitude to the Force. Though the two were different in many ways, Suun and Karai slowly began to see eye to eye on many other ways, coming to respect one another greatly. After nearly two years together, Karai approached Suun, confessing that his feelings toward his master were more than platonic. In truth, Suun felt much the same way, and the two entered a romantic relationship together. Suun eventually fell pregnant with Karai's child, and returned home to Panatha to give birth. She and Karai resided on her homeworld for the better part of a year, until out of the blue, Karai's uncle Aesin Kallig, called for his nephew's help. Over the past six months, Aesin's domain - the planet Khar Delba had been locked in a small guerrilla war with an independent faction of the Imperial Remnant, who sought a Rakatan artifact deep below the planet's surface. Explaining that his kin were in dire need, and that he could trust only Karai, a relative outsider by Sith standards, to help. Determined. Karai and Suun ventured to the frozen world to help.
Upon their arrival, they discovered that Aesin had told a half-truth. Walking into a trap, Aesin's retainers informed the two that Karai's mother had planned for decades to return her Clan to power, and that Aesin had discovered her intent. Eager to prevent the despotic Clan Adas from succeeding, Aesin had lured his nephew into a trap, and had leaked the information regarding the artifact to the Remnant. Suun and Karai soon found themselves in a three-way firefight between the Remnant, Aesin's personal guard, and a contingent of Alliance Marines who had ventured to Khar Delba to stop the Remnant. With dozens of hostages in the hands of the Remnant, the two, facing dire odds, opted to rescue them. It was then, that the situation turned bleak.
Believing the Alliance to have called for the two Jedi, the Remnant executed many of the hostages, opening fire on the pair. The Alliance, safe in the knowledge that no Jedi were involved, also began to gun down the duo, believing them to be Dark Jedi, all the while avoiding Aesin's marauding forces. Pinned down, and with only a handful of hostages, Karai attempted to distract the warring sides, only to be injured in the process. In a brief moment of fear, Suun quickly moved Karai and several hostages to safety, but at a price. Shot through the abdomen by a sniper, Suun felt her life slip away from her. Urging her apprentice and partner to run with the hostages, a terrified Karai refused, and stayed by Suun's side until she died.
Falling into blackness, Suun's spirit was, unbeknownst to Karai, anchored to the Great Temple in which they had been fighting. Along with dozens of Sith spirits, Suun spent the next thirteen years in torment and despair.. Her disembodied spirit wandered the temple, learning that the spirits were in constant competition, seeking to draw a living being to the Rakatan artifact, which was in truth, one of the Infinite Empire's Mother Machines - a device the Rakata had invented in an attempt to restore their lost Force Sensitivity by rebuilding their bodies, and altering the bodies of others for their spirits to inhabit. In the middle of 35 ABY, Karai returned to Khar Delba, to make his peace with his relatives, after killing his uncle in revenge. Now a powerful Sith Lord named Darth Exolus, Karai ventured into the Great Temple, to locate and shut down the Rakatan artifact. Desperate to see him again, Suun battled horrors and the hounding Sith spirits in the temple to manifest herself before her old flame. Having come to believe that the Netherworld of the Force did not exist, and opposed to the prospect of falling into Chaos, Suun urged Karai to take her corpse to the machine so she might live again.
Quelling the many Sith spirits, Karai, with Suun's help, activated the machine, and allowed it to revitalize her corpse, while wresting her spirit from the Temple's anchorage. With her spirit now inhabiting her body once more, Suun returned to corporeal form, and ventured to the Sith stronghold of New Bethrezen, where a new Sith Order had risen. Finding her new lease on life difficult to come to terms with, Suun spent weeks soul-searching, until she decided that her views on the Force were skewed, and sought to find a more meaningful cause to adhere to. It was in this time that Suun rekindled her relationship with Karai, falling pregnant again with twins. After their birth, she requested induction into the New Sith Brotherhood, having extensively scoured over their history and code. Believing it to be a worthy, noble cause to fight for, Suun took the moniker of Darth Indra, after the Indrayah Namah of her homeworld, and began training as a Sith Inquisitor, determined to see the fruits of her new-found ideals.
Personality:
Judgmental and aloof, Suun is quick-tongued, and though she has a relatively good grasp on her temper in company, she is often unable to prevent anger from boiling over. After suffering the pain of a physical death, Suun was subject to nearly a decade and a half of unending psychological torture, unable to become one with the Force. Continuously goaded by dozens of Sith spirits in her resting place, Suun's moral stance was warped in the process of keeping her disembodied self sane.
Her return to a physical form was not without complications, with all three aspects of her wellness suffering severe trauma. Mentally, Suun has lost her sense of empathy toward other living creatures, and finds it difficult to relate to others, including her loved ones. Spiritually, Suun considers herself fractured, and can no longer find any solace in her former Jedi beliefs, nor can she in the Sith Code, feeling a deep sense in nihilism in contrast to both, causing her further grief. Her body itself shows telltale signs of phantom pain syndrome, and at times will not register signals from her brain.

HK-77:
An extensively-customized Czerka Arms HK-77 Assassin Droid, this particular model of HK-77 belonged previously to Darth Exolus. Gifted to his fiancee Indra as both to assist her in her Inquisitor's training, HK-77 features many dynamics found in the older HK-51 and 47 series. In place of a standard 77's integrated blasters and elongated head, HK-77 sports forearms and a head unit retrofitted from an HK-55. The droid is also equipped with an HK-51's variable assault module, capable of launching various explosives, and a flamethrower, as well as a limited stealth field generator, and short-range jump jets. The key difference between Indra's HK-77 and normal HK-77 units, are the droid's assassination protocols. Retrograded with the legendary programming from both the 47 and 51 series, HK-77 is true to its predecessor designs - a true assassin droid.
Suun's basic equipment, consists of the standard field kit issued to all members of the Sith Brotherhood, with two minor alterations.
A99 Aquata-breather: A standard oxygen-nitrogen mix rebreather mask capable of operating in most atmospheres and considerable fathoms of water.
Monofilament cable launcher: A grappling hook device with a small reservoir of liquid capable of launching a pliable filament cable that solidifies when exposed to most standard atmospheres.
Secure-A3 Comlink: A personal multi-frequency communications device with a range limited to 500km operating under various encoded broad-band frequencies.
Imagecaster: A small personal holoprojector capable of projecting a three-dimensional audiovisual representation of a person on a quasi-realtime communication.
DCs-15 sidearm blaster pistol: A heavy blaster pistol with a slowly recharging power cell, providing unlimited ammunition relative to the power cell's life span.
Standard issue survival kit: Several pouches containing protein-enhanced nutrients, chemical glowrods, a small combat knife and a miniature toolkit for lightsaber repairs.
