Name: Yulia Siaen
Age: 23
Species: Yashuvhi
Homeworld: Yashuvhu
Gender: Female
Height: 1.5 meters
Weight: 95 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Chocolate
Skin Color: Ivory
Appearance: Deceptively petite, Yulia tends to wear her hair at shoulder length, and tends to forgo the standard robes of a Sith Order in favor of more mundane, stylish clothing. This serves the double effect of making her stand out among her peers and blend in among the rest of society, which serves her purposes just fine. Her pale skin is smooth and even, marred only by a scar along her back, from her left shoulder-blade to her right hip, acquired in her duel with Aneem, her brother. Her face has a youthful, feminine beauty, and her smile carries with it a certain mischievous quality that makes her easy to underestimate.
Personality: Yulia has lived a princess’ lifestyle, and it shows in her surface level personality. Speaking politely and abstaining from foul language in most situations, she openly disdains manual labor, and detests physical violence, in favor of a more diplomatic solution. She demonstrates courtesy in her everyday dealings, and retains her composure in even the most awkward of situations.
For all her shows of civilization and culture, however, Yulia is a Sith, and thoroughly self-absorbed. As in control as she may be, her emotions run hot, meaning that a minor breach of etiquette can incur her wrath without her giving a visible signal of her ire, a dangerous situation for the offending party, given her prodigious strength in the force. She also seems to demonstrate a selective weakness to flattery, being easily swayed to a course of action by sweet-talk if the matter is unimportant enough.
Perhaps surprisingly, Yulia is fully aware of her flaws; she understands that her ego is a potential gap in her psychological armor, and that she is less than formidable in physical terms. However, in most cases, she is able to counterbalance these flaws with her abilities, or turn her apparent weaknesses to her advantage. An opponent who perceives her as weak can be taken off guard, and, with as amazing as she thinks she is, what should she care about the petty insults an opponent might hurl at her? They’ll be dead soon, anyway.

Backstory: Youngest in a family of five, Yulia was raised with her two older brothers, Arin and Aneem. Her father was a strong force sensitive attuned to the dark side, primarily concerned with obtaining further power, while her mother had no force sensitivity. She was a mate of convenience for Yulia’s father, who typically regarded her as he would a common houseplant, leaving care of household affairs, including savings, largely in the hands of Arin, his eldest son, especially after the rediscovery of their planet by the galaxy at large. With so much space to explore and so many secrets to unlock, long departures became common for Yulia’s father, and Arin did his best to fulfil the responsibilities of his role, sacrificing personal enjoyment and social activities to look after his siblings and ensure the house remained orderly. As the eldest, he held technical authority over his siblings until they came of age, but he was a force sensitive of only average potency (as best as average can be estimated among force sensitives), and his father looked upon him as an eternal disappointment, whatever his other gifts. It was from Arin that Yulia first began to learn the arts of combat, against her mother’s wishes.
Aneem, by contrast, was a lazy, arrogant lout, living extravagantly with the money provided by the combined efforts of Arin and their parents. Caring little for his family, he tormented Yulia in their youth, providing part of the reason for Arin’s training of Yulia with basic weapons. Aneem attended debauched parties, drank heavily, and ultimately did everything in his power to drag the family name through the mud, checked only by Arin’s authority as the eldest. However, his impressive force sensitivity, the only thing their father cared about, was second only to Yulia’s, and this made Aneem the golden son. In their father’s eyes, he could do no wrong.
Arin’s labors went unnoticed for years, and resentment built within him, held back mostly by his bond with Yulia, the only member of the family who gave him credit for his hard work. She encouraged him, applauding his willingness to stand up to their father when he was wrong, no matter how often it got him into trouble, but there was only so much the young man could take, and anger at their father’s cruel treatment festered in him like a sickness. Eventually, tempers boiled over, and at dinner, Arin confronted his father
Their father rebuked him, demanding that he be silent and show greater respect for his betters, but Yulia spoke for her brother, shouting her father down. It was poor payment for Arin’s faith to treat him like a disappointment for his middling force potential. Unexpectedly, their mother spoke out against her husband’s harsh treatment of their son for the first time in over two decades, letting thirty years of pent up frustration come pouring out as she berated him. Livid, he reached out with the force to silence his defiant spouse, but his choke was interrupted as Yulia threw a bottle of wine into his face, breaking his nose. Her attack kicked off a brawl that resulted in the deaths of every other member of her household. Her mother dead at her father’s hand, her father dead at Arin’s, Arin dead at Aneem’s, and Aneem dead at her own. Left alone with the resources her father and Arin had gathered, Yulia grew bitter and cold, fighting off relatives seeking a piece of the fortune that had fallen into her lap.
Alone in her estate, Yulia stumbled upon a message from her father. Expecting to have met his end at the hands of the Jedi, he implored her to make contact with the New Sith Brotherhood, claiming they would aid her in acquiring the power that was her birthright. With no other callings and no other direction to go, she followed his message’s instructions, taking her place among the Brotherhood.

Assets:
Resources 2 - Yulia's father worked as a mercenary on his initial foray into the larger galaxy. His associates took advantage of his ignorance of galactic society and paid him a pittance for his services, which proved to be their undoing. By exaggerating the value of his own pay, they inflamed his greed, and he slew the rest to seize their assets. While it was worth much less than he initially expected, he (or rather, the friends he made along his journey, after his initial killing spree) had the good sense to invest in war industries such as weapons manufacturers and shipyards. After all, conflict is almost unending in this galaxy.
Resources 3 - In the wake of the Yuuzhan Vong war, multiple financial power-vacuums were left open. While a stranger to the galactic economy, Arin was a quick study, and well-placed investments in reconstruction efforts saw the family's bank accounts skyrocketing.
