Appearance:
Standing tall amongst most of the denizens of the galaxy, Heqat is quite a sight to behold off of his home planet of Dathomir. He chooses to wear simple clothes for his work, a dirty gray shirt and brown pants with black boots to cover his feet. He wears his longsword on his back,
Personality: Born and raised as a warrior, the only thing that Heqat respects is the strength one can muster. He has little concern for what others who are weaker than him think, and complete disdain for those who cannot defend themselves from the trials that the galaxy throws at them. He is often rude to those he considers beneath him and while he has learned to keep his tongue held when he needs something, his manner is still cold to those he has little to no respect for.

Backstory: Born to the Night Brothers clan on Dathomir, Heqat was raised in isolation from a true family unit. All he knew was the family of his brothers that he trained with. The training was brutal, but the training created a form of comradery that held the group together. Even in the harshest training sessions there was no true malice between them. They all fought to improve themselves and to improve the clan.
For eighteen years that was Heqat’s life, training with unarmed combat, knives, axes and spears. He became skilled in all, but displayed the most aptitude for use of the swords that the clan used. The combination of reach and cutting power worked well for him, granting him power and reach to allow for speed and strength to play the critical role necessary for a warrior. This skill would serve well when his village was raided by a group of slavers expecting easy prey.
They first hit in a small group, only three or four who went into the village armed with blasters and covered in light armor. They expected to triumph easily over the ‘primitive tribesmen’ who lived on the mountainside. One had even joked he would start taking trophies if the clan leader didn’t tell his people to line up and let them choose a few who were the most well suited for slave labor.
The slavers were torn apart by the clan, their blasters doing little more than cutting down a few of the first to rush them, but once they got in on the group the fight was over. It was impossible to say who scored the killing blow on each slaver, but there was no doubt they wouldn’t get up after the first set of cuts into their limbs. One was completely torn to shreds, another was beaten to the point that they couldn’t tell what his species was by looking at his face, the remaining two’s heads were placed on pike’s at the front of the village.
This proved to be a bad decision on the clan’s part, as they were next met by a group of twenty slavers who attacked at night. The clan fought hard against them, but in the end their courage and skill was not enough to save them. The elders were gunned down while trying to coordinate the younger members of the clan in disarray. With their leaders dead they were slowly gunned down or beaten to the point where they were able to be loaded up. Heqat was unlucky enough to be one of those taken by the slavers.
For the next year he fought in the pits of Ryloth, cutting down every opponent thrown at him and bringing in plenty in credits for his new owner. As a sign of thanks, and possibly an insult to his tribal ways, his new owner allowed Heqat to keep a sword that he had on his person when he was taken. It was his sole possession, and he took great care in keeping the weapon well kept.
Recently he has been purchased by another, and sent on a shuttle though he knows not where he is going. He now awaits his fate, determined to face it with his training and trusty sword.
