A blue giant star inhabits the system with a few planets orbiting around it, and large thick asteroird belt at the edge of the system itself.
The one planet which had natives living on it before being inhabited by extraterrestrial beings, is the planet of Hiikhar. The planet itself has one moon which orbits it exclusively, and the moon is known to be called Angel Moon due to a mountain range resembles a being with outstretched wings, which during eclipses the range can light up mysteriously.
The system was discovered after recent probes sent in by a scavenging company had seen vessels line the asteroid field as if to be a resting place of an ancient battle. Wrecks of ships were many in the asteroid belt, but few did make it past and that is where some wrecks were discovered to be visible on the planet of Hiikhar. The Shipwreck scavenging company, Nasks Scrap Detectors and Parts (NSDaP), decided to make contact with the people of this mainly sand filled planet. The population were all light-skinned humans, mainly covered from head to toe, which were natives of the planet numbering in a few hundred thousands. A small colony funded by the shipwreck salvaging company made first contact on the planet, which number in a few hundred. These peoples co-exist with each other, and the colony sells supplies for information on known ship wrecks on the planet, especially those hidden under the sands. The company and colony educate and employ those willing to join the company and work.
Two Hiikhari people at a discovered shipwreck.
----------
The colony which made contact established a permitted trade post which grew even larger due to the allowance of the Elder Council, as the Elders saw profit and great blessings from the people which came, as well as improvements to better fertility of the sandy planet, and easier acquisition of water due to technologies. Though the greatest thing the NSDaP company earned from the people was a strong workforce that appeared to be naturally skilled, as scavenging wrecks seemed natural to the people, and a people who were natural marksman who seemed to exclusively use long range weapons, and were self trained due to being a slightly hunter society, the winds of the Hiikhar can shift at anytime and the sands are treacherous.
The largest and main settlement the whole operation is happening on is called Karaki by the natives and the integrated colony.
This is the place any and all ships would take landing, as it is almost completely industrialized on one side there is plenty room for a multitude of incoming and outgoing traffic due to the whole sector being a large shipping center for parts and trade. Though the planet gets small traffic from many other companies and factions, besides traders, and is completely independent of what is usually going on in the galaxy.
The market of the city has been somewhat integrated with metal buildings and enhanced with better building methods for limestone. This improvement almost makes the town resemble a modern galactic city if it weren't for the different sized buildings and odd building materials used compared to the rest of the galaxy.
----------
The majority of people lived in hollowed out mountain homes, while some have learned to harvest the resources of the duneish lands and produced houses of limestone and granite. The majority of people which do not live in the town of Karaki live modestly, but still use the technologies brought from outside to help improve their survival rate in the lands as well as their lifespan greatly.
----------
There has been one outsider who has made a new home on the planet, and the general folks seem accepting of the strange soul which has decided to live there. To the people he uses his real name, Lucien, and he lives far enough where they would not think much of him, but close enough so that the mountain range he inhabits is large and visible enough so that they can keep an eye on the outsider for whatever reason.
