Minions/Exceptional Minions/Lieutenants: Nathema Stormtroopers
Nathema has been home to a militia following its explosive rebirth, though it possess no standing military proper. A mixture of species and cultures, many of the former are little more than slaves. They are nonetheless regimented, trained and outfit with the same standard hardware the Sith army has worn for centuries. These grunts now follow Darth Exolus as mere extensions of his will. During their tenure under the Sith, this group has become a true military force, adopting the tactics and regimen of the greater Obsidian Union soldiers.
Cultus: The Nathema Cenobia
An esoteric worship originating some two thousand years ago on the planet Nathema. Once an agricultural world of the old Sith Empire, a Dark Lord named Tenebrae stripped Nathema clean of life with the aid of an ancient droid superweapon. Left barren for centuries, Tenebrae lived far beyond his natural lifespan as an immortal being, with the death of the world sustaining him. Forming an elite group of Force Sensitives called the Nathema Zealots, Tenebrae - now Emperor Vitiate, used these powerful beings as gatekeepers for Nathema and all the lore he had accrued. The Zealots grew dependent on the presence of The Void on Nathema, a horrific gouge torn through the Force and the very fabric of reality. Though most were driven insane, Vitiate's powerful presence coupled with their indomitable wills allowed them to retain some measure of sanity. Vitiate used the Zealots to then lock or unlock the latent abilities of those strong in the Force until his death. Once Vitiate met his end, the life force he had taken from Nathema returned, causing the world to explode with life anew.
For the Zealots left behind, some refused to believe their master was dead, and thus split into various groups. Over time, one major group dominated all of Nathema, now devoted to the worship of the Void. Thus it would remain for generations, until the arrival of Darth Exolus. Once his power had been realized, Exolus dominated the Zealots, along with every living thing on Nathema, turning the lush forest paradise into a figurative hell, where all who dared to walk on Nathema's surface either perished or were driven mad. Exolus has now utilized the Zealots, Nathema; all other worlds in the system and its close neighbors to venerate and deify the Dark Side itself.
Patron Spirit - Vodal Kress: Temple, "Harrowed Amygdala"
One-part cathedral, one-part starship, the Amygdala was built on the spine of a pre-Clone Wars example of a Lucrehulk-class LH-3210 freighter. Baring none of the weaponry of a military ship, the Amygdala has been fitted with a power plant appropriate for a modern vessel of its size and tonnage. Perhaps its most striking feature is the absence of the distinctive core ship. In its place is a pyramidal, temple-like starship modified to dock and interface with the ring proper. This section of the ship originated on Nathema, buried several meters into the planet's crust. Assumed for centuries to be a place of worship, control of the then-structure fell to Karai Nuruut. Upon discovery that the temple was in fact an unusual, derelict starship dating back to at least the Hyperspace War, Karai bid his servants to raise the vessel from the ground with his aid. It was later recovered during his early tenure with the Sith of the Obsidian Union, and extensively modified into a spaceworthy state.
The battleship section of the ship contains the facilities typical of the LH-3210. In addition, the vessel houses living quarters for personnel, suites and meditation/worship rooms for the devotees. Sermons are held in converted portions of the cavernous sub-cargo bays, while the hangar bays rotate out starfighters, shuttles and prison transports, all bound for various interstellar locations.
The pyramid section is the true heart of the ship. Nestled within the bowels of the unassuming hull, are dozens of interrogation chambers for both Force-sensitives and non alike. An expansive detention block with numerous security checkpoints is located in the sector above to prevent escapees. A sizeable facility for cloning is maintained in the upper levels for reasons not entirely understood, and above that still, luxury suites and training facilities for the most devout. The temple is flanked on all four cardinal points by spires, each of which serving as respective audience chambers for important groups.
Sith Name: Darth Exolus
Age: 97
Species: Red Sith (Kissai)
Homeworld: Moraband
Gender: Male
Height: 179cm
Weight: 82kg
Eyes: Black
Hair: Black (greying)
Skin Color: Red
Appearance:
Of the average height and build for his species, Darth Exolus would in any normal circumstance serve as a typical member of the Red Sith. While approaching the Sith equivalent of early adulthood, Exolus appears decades older. His skin is a patchwork of discoloration, burn scars and broken veins - each a reminder of his near-death experience during his youth. His experiences on Nathema have left him with a ghoulish complexion, his skin having lost most of its vivid red shade, turning a mottled purple, deeply marked by lines of advanced premature aging.
His eyes similarly have been robbed of color, turning a glossy black. Sunken in to his face, ringed by dark bagged sockets, Exolus hides his features behind an unassuming, skull-like mask procured from his home, and a heavy zeyyd-cloth cloak.
Personality:

Personality:
Appearing distant and unconcerned with politics in the few occasions he appears in person, Exolus is - at least on the surface, a quiet enigma. Outwardly, Exolus presents himself as a psychotic mass-murdered, sowing fear and disquiet in the enemies of the Sith, within and without. In truth, Exolus is wholly-dedicated to Sith supremacy, using a galaxy-spanning network of psychological warfare to help achieve his aims.
Having been irreparably-changed on Nathema, Exolus' sole purpose in life is to see the subjugation of the Force itself. Coming to the conclusion that the Force exists as an ambivelent entity with no consciousness or conscience - and is therefore detrimentally to life, he seeks to bind it to a strong will - either his own, or the Dark Lord's, or failing this, to destroy the Force entirely. It is Exolus' belief that there are three groups of people in the galaxy; the powerful (those born strong or have become strong through great effort), the powerless (those with the potential to become strong) and the weak (those who steal or deny the strength of others), and that the Force abuses the existence of all three to achieve balance.

Backstory:
Born into the nobility, decades before the Clone Wars, Kmâ-Aruoi was the second child of Qisyr Adzâd and Va-Nurût Kj'âlig. A member of the waning Tsij, a red-skinned race from Moraband from whom the Sith Order derived their name, Kmâ-Aruoi grew up in his mother's modestly-wealthy house of Adzâd, descending from great Kings of the past. Fiercely-intelligent for his age, and unusually-cunning, Kmâ became his mother's favored child over her first born Kvâ-Urûi. Despised by his sibling, the promising Sith Sorcerer Kvâ-Urûi made every effort to have his younger brother disowned or killed, constantly tormenting him. Qisyr likewise worked tirelessly to stamp out any sign of weakness in her second son that she saw in his scheming elder brother. It was through his family's portfolio of slaves that Kmâ found some manner of outlet for his frustrations, growing increasingly-cruel and manipulative toward them. Abusing them as he himself was abused, he eased his suffering through their own, which served only to make the young boy's latent Force Sensitivity spike by the week.
Of all the slaves Kmâ found a kinship of sorts with an Epicanthix slave girl a few years his senior. Her kindly nature led to her own abuse at the hands of other slaves, yet her refusal to break as others did confused the young Kmâ. Discovering the Epicanthix was a former Jedi Padawan stranded on Moraband after a botched mission that saw her master killed, Kmâ slowly learned more about her, including her name - Senn Djul. Noticing his exceptional connection to the Force, Senn saw the faintest spark of something good within Kmâ-Aruoi and sought to nurture it where his upbringing sought to stamp it out. Teaching him her basic understanding of the Force, Kmâ, now entering his teens began to treat her and his family's servants less hashly, coming to eventually view Senn as the sister he never had. His relationship with a mere slave girl did not escape the notice of Kvâ, who used the opportunity to have Kmâ sent away to live with extended family on Dromund Kaas, prompting his mother to reconsider her plans, or at the very least only call upon her slave-loving soon if and when the time was right.
In his years on Dromund Kaas, a nineteen year-old Kmâ quickly surpassed his informal master in strength, even constructing a lightsaber of his own under her guidance. However, Kvâ had spent many years plotting his brother's demise, striking at the perfect opportunity during a party in Kaas City, which he would later frame as an assassination attempt by a bitter, rival house. The explosion that tore apart the building Kmâ and his hosts were in killed Senn, and dozens more instantly, as well as destroying Kmâ's personal droid, HK-77. Kmâ himself barely clung to life in the rubble, suffering immeasurable pain, fear and anger - all of which kept him from death's door. It was this instant that bled his lightsaber crystal, and firmly snuffed out any hope of steering him from a dark fate. Against all odds, Kmâ struggled to survive over the coming weeks, and was eventually visited by his elder brother, who informed him of the ones responsible for the assassination attempt. Still nowhere near recovered, an emboldened Kmâ set out to slaughter the perpetrators. It was Kvâ's hope that his foolish brother would be killed in the ensuing battle. However, news soon spread of the complete annihilation of the house supposedly-responsible for the assassination, with Kmâ-Aruoi as the one to exact justice upon them. Impressed, Kmâ's mother summoned him back to Moraband, praised his display of power and tenacity, and arranged for him to receive tuition from the Nathema Zealots, quietly infuriating her eldest son.
A shadowy monastary of Force Users, the Zealots worshipped what they believed to be the Font of the Dark Side - a realm beyond time and space known as the Void of Illathurion. Through great acts of terror and death, windows coul be opened into this reality - with one having been torn open in Nathema's distant past. Through their study of the Void, the Zealots learned how to twist their greatest weakness, into the source of their greatest strength, though usually at the cost of their sanity. Aruoi would spend the next three decades on Nathema training with the Zealots to prepare him for the day when he too would receive this boon from the Void. Brought to the ancient Sanatorium, Kmâ faced a week-long series of trials, concluding with his final goal; to look upon the Void, and survive. Informed that most Zealots died from the experience, with only the most worthy preserving their lives, Kmâ was taken to the spot closest to the abyssal hole in reality, and subjected to the horrors within. In that instant, Kmâ's psyche was shattered, and he appeared to die from the trauma. His lingering willpower and fragmented memories coalesced together, with the power of the Void filling in the cracks, seemingly dragging Kmâ back from death, though vastly-different. His appearance became ghastly, with his eyes taking on a stark black tint. His greatest weakness - fear had been twisted into the source of his strength, leaving the entity Kmâ had become, an unshakable vessel of power. Declaring himself the master of Nathema, Kmâ easily dominated the minds of the Zealots, breaking them to his will. His mere presence turned the lush and serene forests of Nathema into a figurative hell-scape, where all who walked its surface would be crushed under intense dread, and abject horror. Through a vision however, Kmâ saw that years from now, a dark figure would come to Nathema, walk upon its surface unharmed and guide Kmâ toward his true destiny.
Hidden under a cloak, the stranger from Kmâ vision did indeed brave the perils of Nathema, seeking out the Zealot's master personally. Granted a private audience with the man he had glimpsed in a vision of his own, the figure revealed himself as Rakesh Dawnstar, first Consul of the Obsidian Union and Darth Xaos, a Lord of the Sith. Explaining to Kmâ that he had seen him in a vision, that he would stand by his side and help lead a new generation of Sith to ultimate victory, Xaos offered Kmâ a place in Darth Groznii's New Sith Order, as his own apprentice. Seeing his vision come to fruition, Kmâ knelt before Xaos, and pledged himself to him. Xaos, peering into the Dark Side, conferred unto Kmâ a new name - one that would represent the growing strength of his power; Darth Exolus. Exolus was present during many of the Order's schisms, siding with his master on each and every one. Though he would become a Sith Knight, and eventually a Master in his own right, Exolus always viewed himself as Xaos' apprentice, even when he was one of the first elevated to the nascent New Sith Brotherhood's Dark Council.
Darth Exolus later took part in the infamous Snowfall Campaign against the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where a secret raid plundered many hidden relics from its walls. The Nathema Zealots - and their master became an urban legend during the events of the battle, described as vengeful ghosts. It was this moment that began the Sith Lord's own campaign of subterfuge and psychological warfare against the Sith's foes. His plans eventually culminated in Operation Hammerfall, which saw the destruction of the Republic's Fifth Fleet, and the First Order's Death Squadron over Codia, cementing the Sith's place in the war for galactic domination.

Species: Droid
Homeworld: Mustafar
Gender: Male Programming
Height: 1.80m

Chassis Color: Rusty red
Appearance:
HK-77 is a modified variant of the standard Czerka Arms 77-series assassin droid. Possessing the standard chassis of the Separatist-built combat droid, HK-77 also features the head module and forearms from the later HK-Gladiator series, a battle droid beloved by the Hutt dueling pit masters. With the line's typical rust-red plating and red eyes, HK-77 appears to be nothing more than a slightly sinister-looking protocol droid. Attached to the droid's forearms are a myriad of concealed weapons, befitting of an elite extermination unit.
Personality:
HK-77 is, in his own words, "a paragon of brutal efficiency". With a cheerful quasi-Coruscanti accent, the droid takes full advantage of its similarity to many protocol droids. Like the HK units before him, HK-77 utilizes his assassination protocols to "do more with less", that is, to achieve the most innovative and efficient outcome in combat, with the least amount of methods, tactics or equipment available to him. Despite the droid's ruthless outlook on assassination, it does not possess any hint of reckless bloodthirst, preventing HK from butchering masses of people in order to reach his target. Condescending to all forms of biological life, if not outright dismissive, HK-77, like all HK units prefixes his sentences with conditional words, typically dry wit, or slights toward one's biological form with the scornful epithet of "meatbag".
Demeanour: Competitor
Nature: Eye of the Storm
Goal: To burn holes through meatbags throughout the galaxy.
Languages: Speaks, Reads & Writes six million forms of communication
Backstory:
HK-77 entered service during the height of the Galactic Civil War. While many of his line were destroyed, Czerka Arms capitalized on the legendary success and re-emergence of HK-47. A centuries-old assassin droid, Czerka contacted the then-bounty hunter to help design a new model for wealthy Hutt benefactors. Thus, the HK-Gladiator was created. Though a mere combat droid, HK-47's chassis and combat data were duplicated for use in these glorified bodyguards and pit fighters. A handful of these droids, along with several HK-77 units fell into the hands of Warlord Zsinj, who 'gifted' them to the Lords of Korriban who harbored thoughts of rebellion against their overlord. One 77 unit in particular belonged to House Adas. Damaged multiple times to the point the droid's memory core required replacing, the Adas' HK had been rebuilt using parts from the HK Gladiator, and later modified to serve in a protocol capacity.
Aytchkay, as his young master Karai referred to him was among the boy's few possessions when he left for Dromund Kaas, accompanying him to Nathema, and later to Raxus, where Karai, now Darth Exolus became a Sith Master. In need of his faithful droid with the threat of war looming, Exolus had Aytchkay further modified with onboard weapons and the updated 47-series assassination protocol package from Czerka, allowing him to serve in the capacity of a full assassin.
