Species: Echani
Homeworld: Onderon
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1
Weight: 245
Eyes: Blue
Hair: White
Skin Color: Caucasian
Affiliation(s): First Order (Formerly), Obsidian Union
Appearance: Aryus like most Echani has long snow white hair and emerald green eyes, which he had inherited from his mother. It was not until the latter part of his life was his physical appearance altered. His once "perfect" face had been marred due to an attempt on his life. And as if life could not be ironic enough, his skin too had become pale and sickly like the very thing he had come to study; Death.
Personality: Had this been his life of luxury back on Onderon, one could say he was joyful and inquisitive. Once in life he had been honor bound, unwilling to disappoint his family particularly his father. However the Force had altered him, his being, his mind. Aryus no longer was joyful, no longer honor bound to anyone. His family was dead, he was loyal to himself, to his studies. He had become quiet, reserved, tactful even. He valued knowledge above all else, and would display it openly. This was the new Aryus that the Force, that the Dark Side had created.

Backstory:
Aryus Vasek the firstborn son to Tytos Vasek and Reena Vasek a Jedi and a Republic fighter respectively; was born into a vassal house located on Onderon. His father Tytos despite his former Jedi background was requisitioned by the Matron of Eshan to be their acting voice and emissary. This of course would cause issue as Tytos was a former Jedi, and the Empire wanted to eradicate all Jedi even those who left the order. But with enough persuasion the Empire did let up on their call for Tytos' head; allowing him to become an emissary. Eventually Tytos fell in love with a former rebel pilot; who too happened to be an Echani. It was love at first sight, as Tytos had been smitten when the woman had landed with her strike team on Onderon. The unit consisted on several humans, a Rodian, and of course the Echani woman who Tytos had fallen for. Her name was Rhaenyra, a traditional true Echani name; and it was then Tytos knew he had to have her. The former Jedi did everything in his power to woo her, even assisting the Rebellion in taking out one of the most important imperial military ordnance centers; which had essentially helped crippled the the imperial military. The two fell in love and eventually wedded, with Rhaenyra leaving the rebellion behind to pursue a life and family with Tytos. Though the warrior spirit in both had truly never faded away, as both would assist the rebels in hiding any chance they could.
Years had progressed and the two would have two sons, the first being Aryus and finally his younger brother Tiberyus. Aryus was born after the battle of Endor, a few months after the incident to be more precise. The parents completely overwhelmed with joy as they knew this meant both Onderon and Eshan would be free from the grasp of the Empire. But they were also met with uncertainty, they both knew that the war would truly not be over as the Empire had staunch supporters and would rather die than see their regime come to an end. This was a time for them to rejoice as they now had a child who would come to grow up in an era without the tyranny of the Galactic Emperor. Tytos had even been visited by Luke Skywalker who requested he join his Jedi Order; to which Tytos respectfully declined.
Aryus grew up the same way as any typical Onderonian noble child had. He was pampered, never left the inner city, nor the walls of the palace for that matter. Being the son of a Jedi did have its perks, as it was made apparent that both he and his brother were Force Sensitive. Tytos taught Aryus the ways of the Force, but not the dogmatic views of the Jedi which was instilled in him. Rather a neutral position, something that most Jedi and even Sith refused to acknowledge. Aryus admired his father but could not help but feel the knowledge his father contained would not be sufficient for his inquisitive mind. And that is where all of his problems began, his inquisitive mind. Children are always seeking answers, even if it means going to extremes to find it. A lesson the young boy would no doubt learn. Growing bored of the palace life Aryus would find any excuse to leave, being the son of an ambassador meant he was watched rather hawkishly by the palace guards, and even his overprotective parents. He was clever, something his father acknowledged; but little did he know how clever his son actually was. Aryus had manipulated one of the palace guards into escorting him outside of the palace; there he ordered him to return and act as if nothing had ever happened. As the guard returned to the palace, it became apparent to Aryus this was a rather useful tool to keep in his repertoire. He delighted in knowing how easy it was to break the mind of someone, perhaps too much.
The young boy explored Iziz enjoying the sights, the sounds, the smells; everything that he had been prevented from experiencing. It was as if he was born again as his senses ran wild like a newborn child. Aryus ran through the crowded market place, passing by numerous vendors peddling their goods with wonderment in his eyes. Why had he been sheltered like this? He would think to himself, the city was awe-inspiring; he grew angry at his parents for preventing him from exploring. There was much more to Iziz than the palace, and he wanted to experience all of it. But as it happens, curiosity is a terrible flaw in all living things. Aryus had stumbled upon a deal going south, and one of the participants had been gunned down. The child being just that, a child; froze. Fear paralyzed the boy and he no longer could run, nor talk. The killer approached the frightened boy and pointed the blaster at his head. He couldn't do anything, he was helpless. What was this feeling, what was occurring? Why wasn't that man moving? He knew nothing of these things. Just fear. As the blaster began to warm up, he heard shouting and the sound of a lightsaber being brandished. The swirling blue lights was all he saw before passing out from the experience. He had awoke hours later to his crying mother, his brother, and a very angry father at his bedside. He was scolded for hours and was banned from leaving the palace without an escort. But there was still something lingering on his mind, that of the man who had been gunned down earlier. That was death. That could have had been him, and he would have been helpless to stop it. He swore on that day that he would devout his studies into death, and how to prevent it.
Many years had passed, the boy had become a man who was on the verge of walking in his father's footsteps and becoming the new ambassador for Eshan. But before he did, he was tasked with taking a pilgrimage to his families true place of origin. His father, his mother, and his brother would be joining him for this pilgrimage as they wished to see their son receive the blessings of the Matron of Eshan. This would not come to pass however, it was already known Onderon had become a political cesspool. Three separate factions were vying for influence within the palace walls; but no form of fighting actually broke out. Until the day he was meant to set off for Eshan. Aryus was directed to take one shuttle ship, while his family was strangely separated from him. This did cause alarm for him, but his father assured him they would be fine. As the ships prepared to launch a rogue missile had slammed into the ship carrying his family, causing it to fall out of orbit and crash into the city. The pilot fled despite Aryus' pleads for him to return to the ground. They were still going to Eshan, despite what just transpired. As the ship entered the Echani atmosphere they were struck behind and shout out of the sky.
The ship crashed to the ground killing everyone on board, even Aryus teetered between the realm of living and dead. So it would happen the ship was found by the First Order, who immediately ordered for Aryus' extraction back to their base. The broken man was taken back to the First Order's base of operations and would be looked after constantly until he healed; thats if he was even alive. Darkness swallowed his thoughts, clouded his emotions. He felt anger, hatred, he also felt nothingness. What was this place? Where was this place? It was everything malevolent, yet it was nothing. It was only darkness, he could not see, he could not speak. But he could hear voices, many voices. Some shrieks, others laughter. Then he heard a voice, a voice clear as day; telling him to awaken, telling him to surpass this realm and transcend death. That was his mission, that was what the spirit told him to do. As the voice faded away, he seemed to have been sent back to the physical realm. He screamed loudly as he ripped the tubes and needles from his body. There he writhed in pain, screaming in utter agony until a woman approached. Her name was Vidia, a Knight of Ren. She had explained to him what occurred, what became of him, what became of his family. She informed him a rogue union of Sith had preemptively struck at the First Order and inadvertently him. Vidia had claimed that the First Order was present on Eshan to establish diplomatic ties with the Matriarch; it was not far fetched as the Empire had once gone about this the same way. She insisted that an attack on an emissary was a declaration of war, a declaration that must be met with the same hatred and malice that they used on them. Aryus didn't quite care about Onderon or Eshan in this moment, he cared about his family; and he would have his revenge.
