Name: Reve (rāv) Arsano Jafan Eskio Vanadis of House Angenet, 51st Count Angene.
Sith Name: Lord Zurvan
Age: 28
Species: Human
DOB: 6 ABY
Homeworld: Naboo
Gender: Male
Height: 180 cm
Weight: 80 kg
Eyes: Green
Hair: Blond/Brown (Chestnut Blond)
Skin: Fair
Appearance:
Both the Republic and Union records state Reve to be “medium height, medium build, blonde/brown hair, green eyes, Human.” This would imply that he is a fairly unremarkable individual. While he is indeed of average height and slightly-leaner-than-average build, he is very rarely described as “unremarkable” in person. His piercing silvery-green eyes, facial symmetry, and strong, warrior’s jawline would easily be at home on a Galactic supermodel, and due to his history of physically-demanding activity, he has the physique to match. While his physical features are exceptional, and make him the constant target of glances and furtive whispers, he is made even more conspicuous by his attire.
Reve has always had something of a preoccupation with fashion. Even during his days with the Jedi Order, he took immense care to ensure that his robes were always in spectacular repair, and upon being Knighted spent more than a little time and effort ornamenting them to “better suit [him].” Since returning to Naboo, he has returned to his former wardrobe styles, and indeed has even surpassed them in many respects. Fur coats, fine silks, and exotic designs are displayed upon him like artwork, and he is never seen out in the public eye in anything less than beautiful.
In more intimate surroundings, Reve often prefers looser, more breathable garments, as he grew fond to training in such vestments during his time with the Jedi. He has, therefore, modified the sleeveless Jedi undertunic and generally sports this shirt, in a truly dizzying variety of shades, materials, and embroidered designs, each more ornate than the last. This, combined with either loose-fitting trousers or a skirt, serves as his most-donned outfit in private or training. On the battlefield, he tends to prefer light or medium armor and, while he would like it to be as finely-crafted and ornamented as the rest of his attire, he most often regards armor as equipment rather than vestment.
Personality:
Bubbly, cheerful, irrepressible. Generally regarded as funny, if somewhat sardonic and sarcastic at times, handsome, and charismatic, the young man largely avoids confrontation and conflict, much preferring to spend his time in the pursuit of his and others’ pleasures. He is, generally speaking, fearless, though there is some debate as to whether that is simple naiveté, citing the optimism and enthusiasm with which he approaches his every task.
During work hours, that is to say, in the pursuit of his duties, he is relentless and occasionally even allows his determination and resolve to take precedence over his cheer. While he continues to use his natural charm and gravity, as well as his physical attractiveness, to his advantage in such situations, he does so with a very different tone, that being less a playboy, more an Ambassador.
Reve has been consistently vocal throughout his time in the political and legislative arena against corruption, negligence, and the abuse of station by those in position. He has, despite his effectively constant bearing of titles of responsibility and respect (Junior Legislator, Jedi Knight, Count Angene, etc.), never been known to draw upon the privileges or conveniences of those offices/titles for personal purpose, firmly believing that to be in dereliction of his duties. He has, however, utilized the inherent anxiety, confusion, and consternation arising from his position as a former Jedi Knight to his advantage in social situations, and while he has not overtly used it as a political tool of influence, he seems to have benefited from it.
Outlook:
Obsidian Union: Excellent chaps, excellent chaps! They may have a bit of baggage left from the old pre-Imperial days, but I personally rather relish the idea of this new separatism.
First Order: Pfft, surely you mean the North Galactic Military Junta? The sooner someone takes Snoke to the blade and disperses that mephitic organization, the better. Bring some peace to the poor folk in that region who've seen so much strife these past few decades.
New Republic: Lots of handshaking and shoulder-shrugging, lots of mumbling about budget constraints and the "greater good", but not a lot being done. Shame, for an organization that should pride itself on progress.
Jedi Order: An archaic order of warrior-mystics and monks. Lots of potential, but they're lead by, organized around, and devoted to the old dodderer Skywalker.
Knights of Ren: A bunch of young Jedi who got bored and thought, "oh, yes, I've a grand notion! Let's all put on silly costumes and go about terrorizing the good people of the Galaxy with lightsabers and ghost stories about Lord Vader and his new Avatar!"

Alternate Identity 4: Terras Kharko, Obsidian Knight Zurvan
"Terras Avo Rhane-Kharko was born in 5 BBY in Ambaril, Chandaar. Son of former COMPNOR agents, raised in accordance with late Imperial/Zsinjist ideology. Excellent marks in schooling, accepted into Royal Flight Academy on Chandaar in 11 ABY. Brief stint as a conscripted soldier in defense of Ambaril during the attack thereof, 12 ABY, wherein he was orphaned, as well as sustaining significant injuries, including a blaster coolant burn to the left side of his face. Hospitalized 12.3 - 14 ABY, at which time he was prevented from returning to Flight Academy on Medical grounds. Enrolled instead in Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences, wherein he was educated in Law and Public Policy. Awarded degree with honors, 19 ABY. While licensed to practice law within the Cronese Mandate, Kharko instead chose a diplomatic post, and due to his command of Huttese, served as liaison to several Hutt clans between 20 and 23 ABY. During the Vong Wars and the Refugee Crises, Kharko was known to have played some role in the securing of former Hutt Mercenaries for the defense of the Tion Cluster, as well as in the desperate attempts to organize and effectively handle the large numbers of Huttese-speaking refugees flooding across the border. He is suspected to have profited some amount from deals and arrangements made with Hutts regarding the treatment of their Refugees, as well as some from the Refugees themselves.
Though having been generally politically inactive through his youth, following the conclusion of the Vong Wars Kharko became a vocal advocate for System Independence and sovereignty. He ran, unsuccessfully, for mayor of Ambaril in 30.6 ABY, a failure which many contribute to his particularly vicious rhetoric and personal attacks on Leia Organa-Solo and her brother, Skywalker. Finding some association in Tionese industrialists and militarists, Kharko reapplied for a diplomatic posting, though was given a position essentially equivalent to the one he had held prior to his foray into politics. Kharko was one of the Cronese diplomatic staff who personally endorsed the Declaration of Dissolution, and he enthusiastically volunteered (though was not selected) to participate in the Cronese Mandate's Constitutional Congress of 31 ABY. Nearly immediately, however, he was selected for training as a Novitiate of the Knights Obsidian. Records of his training are, as always, sparse, and include only the barest of detail. In 32.8 ABY, Kharko was formally granted the title of Knight Obsidian, and took the nom de guerre 'Zurvan.' His current residence, location, assignment, and all further personal data is classified under Union protocol CORMORANT."

Fame: 1 (Count Reve Arsano)
51st Count Angene, Reve is by no means anonymous, and is well-known amongst the nobility, the socio-political elite, and the upwardly mobile of Naboo and its surrounding systems. However, he is no celebrity, and his position, title, and name are known far more widely than his description or appearance.
Status: 2 (Count Reve Arsano)
Nubia Star Drives, Inc.:
Having acquired a significant (though not controlling) stake in the company during his romp through Hutt Space, Reve has increased his holdings yet further since acquiring the resources and position of Count Angene. He is now the single largest individual shareholder, though is still working on attaining full control. Rather aggressively and overtly working on attaining full control, much to the chagrin of the current Board of Directors. (NOTE: If he successfully does gain a majority vote in the corporation, he is very likely to attempt to revive the Nubian Design Collective as a semi-independent governing body, in line with Union ideology. This will no doubt affect the political situation on Nubia, and perhaps further afield.)
Resources: 4
While legitimate income streams are significant, including full control over several Naboo-based industries (technically under the Estate of the Count of Angene), revenues from existing investments (a combination of both his own personal investments and those of the Estate), and extensive fees assessed for various consultancies and functions served both within and without of the Chommel sector (some of which is performed for known Union associates), and the tax exemptions awarded him as a member of Naboo’s nobility make him an exceptionally wealthy individual, it fails to account for the apparent depth of the Count’s coffers. Some theorize that he is, despite his already-considerable affluence, receiving some form of sponsorship or subsidy from another body or individual.

Backstory:
Early Years: 6 ABY -14 ABY
Born in the Great Bedchamber of the ancient Palace Dormèis, Reve Arsano was the second of two children to Ranon Horatio, 50th Count Angene, and his wife Darmè Layanli. His elder sister, Neirè, was born in 1.3 ABY, and had already begun advanced schooling by the time her brother was born. The Palace and its adjoining grounds were truly beautiful, though oftentimes as a young boy he failed to appreciate it. North-Northeast of Theed, the city and its estates and vineyards looked due-east over the sapphire-blue and mirror-clear waters of Lake Epsio, and Dormèis, the Palace of Reve's youth, lay just on the shore, aside Rour Falls. Nowhere near as breathtaking, opulent, or massive as Convergence, Dormèis was about the same size as Varykino, though was a much older, much more "practical" structure, with high walls, parapets, and watch towers giving the Palace a much more intimidating, fort-like appearance much unlike the traditional estates of the Nabooan Nobility. His family, one of the oldest on Naboo, was considered particularly conservative, bordering on traditionalist, and was generally perceived as, along with the military dynasties (Veruna, Panaka, Typho) one of the more militant on the planet. Perhaps this was why they inhabited a castle, and it is certainly why they included dueling and military theory in their young son's education as soon as possible.
Like all children of the Aristocracy, Reve began his education very early, with formal schooling beginning at around age 3. He took to schooling very well, and his instructors were quick to lavish him with praise and gush about his potential. By 6, while he had already outstripped many of his similarly-aged peers, he had also begun to develop a rather defined sense of haughtiness, arrogance, and superiority. As a young boy, he spent much of his time flitting between the disparate activities of music, arts, scholarship, dueling practice, and playing about the grounds of his Estate with the common children. In 12 ABY, at the age of six, Reve was admitted into the prestigious Legislative Youth Program (albeit only in an observatory capacity), and began to experience his first real interaction with the mechanics of governance. In order to further engage him in his studies, Count Ranon secured his son an apartment in the city of Theed, as was usual for the nobility. While his instructors, coaches, and tutors continued to praise his skill and studiousness, they cautioned also on his growing sense of self-importance and haughtiness. By 8, he was widely regarded as something of a prodigy, even amongst the Naboo, for his extraordinary abilities as an administrator and a negotiator, despite his occasionally acerbic, sardonic personality.
The Force Awakens: 10 - 12 ABY
While the precise date is unclear, even to him, at some point Reve came across the knowledge of the Jedi Order's precognitive ability which, so far as he could determine, derived from intense meditation. While meditation was unfamiliar to the young nobleman, he felt that the potential benefit far outweighed his discomfort, and therefore spent a goodly portion of his young life (he claims variously 2, 3, 5, and 7 years) learning to adequately quiet his mind. Through careful meditation, he learned the basics of the Sense Force and Farsight Powers. While he was initially under the impression that he had, indeed, attained the ability of foresight, he found his "premonitions" to be fractured, incomplete, and entirely useless. As he attempted to delve further into meditation, he became more and more aware of the Living Force within the Galaxy, and far more importantly, within himself. By 12, he had given up the pursuit of precognition, but maintained a clandestine meditation schedule throughout his early teens, and he attributes much of his success during the period to his growing awareness of the Force.
Romance, Heartbreak, Adventure: 14 - 20 ABY
Whilst serving in the Legislative Youth Program and in his Level Four school program, Reve would first come into contact with Qyanè Aphron, daughter of Captain Tora Aphron, head of the Royal Naboo Security Forces. At 12, she was already working in the Apprentice Legislature, as well as volunteering with the Naboo Youth Security Brigade. He was entranced by her proud stature and her dark eyes, and she by his effortless charm and disciplined manner. The two began a romance that at first seemed fated in the stars.
Both of sharp posture and military bearing, they displayed consummate professionalism in their public affairs. During the evenings of their week-ends, the young aristocrat would often invite the Security Volunteer to his Theed apartments, adjoining the estate of the Veruna family, first to train and study in combat theory. As the evenings drew on, over the years, the two would grow ever closer and, while there appeared no outwardly evident change in their professionalism, they began to find every reason to work alongside one another. He volunteered for the Youth Security Brigade, though never gave it as much passion as the Apprentice Legislature. She would summer at Dormèis in both 16 and 17 ABY, during which time the two were known to picnic by Rour Falls and to boat on Lake Epsion, activities normally reserved to lovers. Though not exactly "common knowledge," the courtship of two fairly well-known young members of Naboo's political community, and one of them a noble, was more than enough for a healthy buzz of chatter to develop around both the Theed and the Angene scene.
Perhaps it was due to the increasing social pressures on the two that in early 18 ABY, at a Nabooan New Year's Ceremony (their planetary solar calendar offering a varied placement of holidays to the Galactic Norm), Aphron would publicly and conspicuously snub Reve as he attempted to dance with her. The resultant hushed, civilized falling-out was the scandal of the season, and remained a subject of conversation amongst their peer group for nearly two years. He appeared devastated by the event and would retreat into the family estate. Resigning his position in the Youth Security Brigade (many believe under pressure from his Commanding Officer, Aphron), he abandoned his apartments in Theed, took up residence in Dormèis, and began focusing his work on the academic. He was given the opportunity to formally resign from the Apprentice Legislature after having failed to report for his tests, but he never responded to the organization, and was therefore simply removed from their member roster in 19.2 ABY.
In 19.5 ABY, 600 copies of a 216-page document on military theory and history was published by the House Angene, entitled Lessons Learned From the Trade Federation Invasion of Naboo: Small and Large Scale Infantry Tactics in the pre-Clone War Era. The work was highly regarded by critics and, later, the wider planetary audience, for its exhausting attention to detail and the sheer breadth of sources drawn upon. While the author was identified only as "Eskio," most were quick to associate the harsh militarist ideology of the manuscript with the heir to the Count Angene. Less than a month later, over 2,000 copies of a 22-page reduced version were published and circulated amongst the Gungan soldiery, entitled Address to Boss Jonga on Infantry Reform, under the same nom-de-plume.
In 20 ABY, news of the Praxeum of Master Skywalker on Yavin IV had reached Naboo, and the moping of the young Reve had become too much for his family to stand. His father, in poor health, demanded that his son be sent to learn from the Jedi and, when the young man protested, revealed that he had been tested for Force-sensitivity near birth, as was the custom amongst much of the Imperial nobility (retained from the legal mandates of the Republic and Empire, designed to assist first the Jedi, then the Emperor's Hands and the Inquisition), a fact which had been concealed from him. Having no further defense to rely upon, Reve was forced to accept his father's command and depart for Yavin, where he was to receive training in the Jedi Arts, effectively disinheriting him.
Jedi Training: 20 - 26 ABY
Shortly after arriving on Yavin, it was clear to many of Reve's prospective instructors that the young man had developed a rather unorthodox interpretation of the Order's purpose. At first, this was attributed to both the scarcity and lack of accuracy of information regarding the Jedi Order in the Imperial and Post-Imperial era, and the general discomfort of reestablishing oneself in an entirely new environment, in an entirely new lifestyle. None doubted his capabilities in the Force, and for the first time he received praise for the independent exploration he had done for years in secrecy. His natural charisma and social experience meant he took naturally to the path of the Jedi Consular, despite having a particular fondness amongst his peer group for single combat. He frequently chose to forego diplomatic exercises in favour of sparring or discussions on tactics with the Whiphid Weapons Master G'Hrrom. Despite her usually harsh, warrior nature, many described her relationship to the young Naboo as being almost maternal. She would reportedly even dismiss other Apprentices if he approached and requested her attention.
G'Hrrom, along with his other Jedi instructors, cautioned Reve against the radically unorthodox interpretation of the Jedi Order he continued to develop as he learned more of their arts. While she was a warrior through-and-through, and understood full well the importance of a strong guiding hand, the young man's proposals were far too extreme, calling for the Jedi to effectively supplant the legislative and judicial bodies of the Galaxy, and to serve as the sole authority on spiritual, moral, and legal matters within the same. More than once, he recalls having been kept from exposing the depth and complexity of these views to others solely by the Weapon Master's counsel. He took great comfort in his practice with her, and grew extremely fond of the elderly alien, despite his somewhat bigoted upbringing.
In 25.2 ABY, after 5 years of training, Reve was assigned to the Jedi Master Selrahc Eluos, an Order 66 Survivor of the Old Republic, as one of four Padawans. Easily the most militant of the four, he was nonetheless a capable Consular due both to his natural charisma and his extensive background in administration and legislation on Naboo. He often felt even more out of place at this time than he had in the period prior, and would occasionally intentionally antagonize or one-up his fellow Padawans. Less than a year after having been assigned, Reve was brought before Master Skywalker personally for having formally requested a duel with another Padawan, Ranna Tesh, a Togruta female. Having been denied this request, he became very agitated, but had "calmed down significantly" after a few days.
The Vong War: 26 - 30 ABY
When the Yuuzhan Vong ripped through Imperial space and began to tear at the Republic, the Jedi were often at the front lines. While Reve was anxious to participate in the action, not only eager to test the Jedi Arts in battle but also to assist the people of the Galaxy, his assignment to Master Eluos prevented it. While every able-bodied Guardian and Sentinel was dispatched, Eluos and his Consulars were instead given the task of recruiting the Forceful of the Galaxy into the newly-reborn Order. Though Reve chafed against these assignments in some measure, he maintained his professionalism and pursued his duties admirably, identifying Force Sensitives with his advanced use of the Sense Force power, and swaying them or their families into accepting the Jedi Way with his gravity of character and cheerful manner.
Nonetheless, the war situation continued to develop, not necessarily to the Republic's advantage. The Jedi made many brave and heroic efforts, and the lives of many were given in what was hailed as martyrdom. While Eluos, his Consulars, and his Padawans performed admirably in the recruitment of the Galaxy's Forceful, there was simply no way to properly train them to the standard of a Jedi Knight in time to replace their catastrophic losses. Eventually, losses formerly regarded as unthinkable became acceptable, and the Consulars and their Apprentices were sent, along with the others, to the slaughter of the Vong Wars. Reve, having just been Knighted in one of the many desperate mass-Knightings that were common of the period, was sent as well.
The first time Reve made it near the front lines was in 26 ABY, when he was one of two Jedi placed in charge of civilian evacuation from Coruscant prior to the Vong invasion. The evacuation did not succeed, and only a tiny portion of the population made it away from the planet in time, mostly the elite and powerful. That particular fact was pointed out by the other Jedi in charge of the operation, a much-elder and senior Knight, and would be brought against him later. His desire to utilize the Jedi Arts in battle would be fulfilled soon thereafter, as the Vong invasion continued, seemingly in no way faltered by the conquest of what was widely considered the Galaxy's most significant system, into the Inner Rim. In the Battle of Contruum, Reve was charged with the defense of three New Republic staging points, each of which was eventually overrun despite the furious and valiant resistance of the forces under his command. This failure, perhaps the single most significant of his career, would truly shudder the foundations of his confidence, and despite his exceptional success in the two Orbital Actions which followed (first to secure a safe exit for the shattered remains of his forces, next to destroy the pursuing Vong scout ships), he remained shaken for the duration of the War. He would serve as a battlefield commander again at Chalacta, where he would again find his position overrun and his forces driven into retreat. In this particular confrontation, Reve himself was credited with nearly three dozen enemy kills.
With the emergence of the First Order into the war and the subsequent destruction of the Vong Mothership, the assault was turned on its head, and Reve was one of the Jedi commanders pressing the counterattack against the shattered invaders. He made a point to revisit Contruum and, finding no Vong to confront, reportedly flew into a state of great agitation. Ordering his forces to pursue the Vong relentlessly in all future encounters, and to show no quarter (an order that was consistently disobeyed), the Jedi would press his superiors at every opportunity for further offensives, despite the overall reticence of the Republic and their forces. When peace was signed, Reve reportedly refused to acknowledge the Treaty, and ordered his forces to continue the fight. This caused an enormous schism, an armed showdown on the Republic Cruiser Massive Intrepid, and would likely have lead to a mass desertion of close to two thousand Republic troops had the Jedi not been talked peacefully into custody by his Master, Selrahc Eluos, only recently reunited with his former apprentice after the chaos of war. Having lost three of his four Padawans to the Vong, Eluos was determined to see that the darkness of the conflict would not consume the last. In custody, Reve was transported back to Yavin to be counseled by the Jedi Order.
The Schism: 30 - 31 ABY
On his return to the Praxeum on Yavin IV, Reve found the Order nearly as broken as he was. Much of the former luster had gone, and despite its youth what remained appeared an elderly, weary organization. They offered counsel, they offered wisdom and insight into the pain and the anger that welled up in the hearts of the Jedi who had survived the fighting. But, in reality, the offer was hollow. Many of those who claimed to “counsel” were children, recently recruited and Knighted out of necessity, or the old, or the unworthy to serve. Those who offered insight into the agonies suffered in fighting had not fought this foe, and the counsel of those who would truly be of comfort, who may have turned him back to the path of the Jedi, were absent from the Temple’s halls. G’Hrrom, along with many of the Order’s preeminent Weapon Masters, had fallen in battle against the awesome might of the Vong. Many of the tacticians and Guardians that Reve had so enjoyed his time with were lost, One With the Force, and he felt the Galaxy all the poorer for it. When the horrifically mutilated, Vongformed Jacen Solo returned and began his feverish preaching, Reve listened for a time, and was at one very early point after his return considered one of the newly-reborn Kylo Ren's closest allies. He even, for a short period, seemed to have been swayed to support (or at least tolerate) the First Order and their presence in the Galaxy. However, the madness and the trauma of his fellow soon became too apparent, and his vision for the galaxy just a bit too far removed from reason. Reve abandoned Ren, some time before his Expulsion was made official by the council. While Master Skywalker may have been pleased with Selrahc's former Padawan, Ren seemed truly hurt, and betrayed.
With the end of the war came also a surge of what was before regarded as “trivial” information. Shortly after having returned to his Jedi training, Reve was informed that his father, Ranon Horatio, 50th Count Angene, had passed away. While dismayed, it was only upon hearing that, due to his status in the Order, he had been passed over for succession by his elder sister, he requested to leave the Order and to be relieved of the title Jedi. This was not, as he thought it would be, received well. Over the course of the next year he was asked to meet with Master Skywalker in person on three separate occasions. Each time, the aged Master beseeched Reve to remain in the order, to “help [him] help the Galaxy.” Each time, he was unswayed. In a manuscript published later, the Nabooan dealt with Master Skywalker in a dismissive, almost disrespectful manner, which would (at the time) generate controversy. While there was much reticence in this period to see Jedi leave the Order, and in particular a great fear of Dark Jedi arising from former members, in this instance there seemed to be no fear of Dark Side corruption. Whether this was simply due to his charisma or some other, more insidious reason, all those who gave testimony to the Order, both in support of and in opposition to his leaving, seemed highly confident that he posed little threat of falling to the Dark. By 31.1 ABY, Reve was on a shuttle off Yavin, heading not towards Naboo, but Hutt Space.
The 51st Count Angene: 33 ABY
Returning to Naboo in the later months of 32 ABY, at the head of a retinue including twin bright-blue Twi’lek slaves (promptly relabeled as “houseguests,” of course), Reve Arsano made something of an entrance on Theed when he stepped off the shuttle. He, perhaps intentionally, took several apartments at the estate of the House Veruna upon his return, paying handsomely for them of course, and remained there for just under a week before he departed along with his retinue. As he came to Angene, he was rather well-recieved, and was given warm hospitality by his sister, the 16th Countess Angene.
Wasting no time, Reve made subtle overtures towards various influential elements in the town, including the chief officer of the local police force. Acting primarily through his agents though occasionally meeting in person, he made inquiries as to the sentiments of the people regarding him, or rather, the concept of him, and more than once introduced into the local news stream stories regarding their hometown war hero. Less than a month after returning to his home town, Reve had gathered dozens of highly-respected, influential members of the local community to openly support his replacement of his sister as Count of Angene. While he had not been forthcoming in informing them of his presence, the news of his spectacular arrival at Theed was common knowledge by the time his supporters gained any significant traction in the community, and the local community was quickly abuzz with information surrounding him and his return. While his sister had no major shortcomings as Countess, having been Naboo-bound and at the least more-or-less present for the majority of the previous decade, her somewhat aloof attitude and career as a zoologist made her generally loathe to participate in the pomp and ceremony of her office.
At approximately 10:15 local time, close to three hundred residents of hee town of Angene gathered to participate in a formal vote. The result was a landslide, and at 15:23, Reve Arsano Jafan Eskio Vanadis of the House Angenet was declared the 51st Count Angene. He was gracious and eloquent when he took the stage at the lakeside amphitheater, where he profusely thanked the citizens for having given him the opportunity to serve them, despite his long and pronounced absence. Many found his new personality, more outgoing and far less inhibited, to be exhilarating, and it served as magnificently effective. His formal reintroduction to his sister was far warmer and less confrontational than many had anticipated. Indeed, he lovingly embraced her and welcomed her to stay in the Palace, along with all the rest of his family, at any time they desired.
Upon retaking his home, his title, and his position, Count Reve of Angene looks upwards, and is primed now more than ever before to take the reigns of power.
The Secret History: 31 - 33 ABY
Reve may well have been disillusioned and distanced from the Jedi Order, but he maintained his belief in the Force. During the war, he had served as a Jedi Commander to the Republic’s armies and, despite their catastrophic losses in that war, he had never felt such magnificent power. Such pure, unbridled power as could be wrought from the Living Force. When he returned to Yavin at the conclusion of the conflict, the thought most pressing on Reve’s mind was not that of horror or of violence, nor the thoughts of humanitarian tragedy, but his ruminations on power. He had so desired to share these thoughts, these revelations, really, with the Masters he felt would most respond to them, only to find the Temple dark and in the winter with their absence. For a time, he felt as though these thoughts, these feelings would forever be nothing more than a blight on his knowledge that he would be forced to ignore, but as he learned of the death of his father, so too did he learn of the political upheavals of the greater Galaxy. He learned of this new Separatism, and of the Force Order that apparently sought to support their cause. Unlike the Jedi, they seemed to have at least mastered their front-facing organization, and he was able to readily access enough information to ensure that he was thoroughly intrigued.
As he left the Jedi Praxeum, Reve made his way directly to Hutt Space, where he first came into contact with Union representatives, to which he jovially turned himself in, at which point Republic records officially stop. While records show he was detained and questioned by several, proceedingly higher-ranked individuals, the official record of the Union also stops just after a dispatch regarding a “particularly interesting case” was filed with the nearest Obsidian Knight. While it is unlikely Reve remained on Nal Hutta the entire time, he next appears leaving that same planet in 32 ABY, destined for Raxus Secundus, where he remained for just over two months before returning, for roughly the same period of time, to Hutt Space. Though the second trip appeared to be more a pleasure cruise, as it involved the expenditure of large amounts of money in newly-Unionized Hutt Space and the acquisition of several slaves, it is difficult to determine with any definitive accuracy whether or not an ulterior or clandestine objective was the cause.
Ally: Zan Amisa Tellik
A well-regarded Zeltron Associate of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, Zan was assigned to Reve's Account as the head of his Financial Advisory Commission. In this capacity, she essentially serves as his personal banker and financial associate, and he conducts the majority of his large-scale financial transactions through her, while she likewise conducts or delegates the common and mundane tasks of ensuring his wealth is secure and in a state of growth. The two have only met in person twice, and while the attraction, engagement, and overall enjoyment was mutual (he's an incredibly handsome and charming Human, and she's a Zeltron), she is unlikely to engage in any activity that would jeopardize her position, and would likely require convincing for tasks that would even draw undue scrutiny.
Since 33 ABY, and Reve's assumption of Noble title, Zan has been a strong contender for the title of Treasurer of Angene. While her credentials and experience are more than adequate, she operates out of Nar Shaddaa, and seems to have no inclination to relocate.
