A myriad of circumstances had brought Darth Druja, Darth Azarath, and Kai'Aati to the rain-drenched planet of Indaan, a distant and lonely neighbour of Ventooine near Wild Space. Officially, the colony had been founded about a hundred years before the Clone Wars, developing into a fertile and peaceful agrarian world fuelled by heavy rains and the occasional rich mineral deposit. Of course, official records rarely match reality, because the planet was home to numerous scattered tribes of scattered Reptilians residing mainly in the planet's enormous marshlands. To say that there had been friction between the natives and the newer colonists was an understatement - the Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, and the recent Yuuzhan Vong War had seen the planet's population explode. Now hundreds of small villages and several large cities dotted the surface of the planet, and the once-passive natives now responded violently to incursions into their territory.
All of this seemed irrelevant in the warm and pleasant confines of the Long Draught Cantina, where the three Sith present occupied a corner booth away from prying eyes.
It was largely a coincidence that all three Sith had prepared to visit the planet at around the same time and had ultimately decided to travel together. For Azarath, he was here to learn more about the natives. Some recent archaeology and anthropology missions had discovered some striking similarities between the natives and the very ancient Trandoshans, and they made fine warriors besides. Azarath wanted to know more, and perhaps recruit a few into his nascent underworld coalition. Kai'Aati, a recent inductee into the ways of the Krath, was largely following Druja to learn more about the Krath ways and techniques, but had an ulterior motive in her own curiosity: several ruins on the planet bore a striking similarity to those on Pybus, and she'd wanted a better look than hazy holographic images.
It was Druja that was here on the most urgent mission. She was here to make contact with Marzena, a fellow Enchanter who had come to the planet several years ago. Marzena had been the first to hear of the oddities occuring in Indaan's darker corners - perverse creatures that seemed to spring up overnight, abandoned farms and villages coupled with emptied settler graves and native burial mounds. She had suspected something arcane was at work, and had come here to learn the truth of the matter and bring it back to the Krath. Yet her communications had grown sporadic and terse of late, so Druja had been asked to find her to check on her progress and bring back anything of value she had already found. Marzena's trail had lead them here, to the trading post of 'Crete Crossing and the Long Draught Cantina, before a ferocious rainstorm had nearly grounded their speeder and sent them scurrying indoors.
The rain beat an almost soothing pattern on the roof, and a few other drenched patrons had taken seats at the bar on in the tables in front of the stage. A local Zabrak girl with a gentle voice was on stage, backed by a holographic synth band as she sang something soft and soulful about understanding one another, and a waitress kept the drinks moving from the bar to the patrons.
As members of the Sith, and as members of the Krath for Druja and Kai'Aati, they had met before, but each barely knew anything about the other. This was the first chance since arriving on the planet that the three had had the chance to simply talk, and with their drinks of choice in front of them there seemed like no better time.

Here's a map of the cantina. Since I'm trying to jostle you guys into a forming a party, this is a very obvious opportunity for you to feel out your characters a bit and get to know each other before things get moving (assuming that's what you want!).
