Name: Aelor Kyr
Alternate Identity: Kyle Xitaen
Age: 21
Species: Miraluka
Homeworld: Alpheridies
Gender: Male
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 174 lbs
Eyes: None
Hair: Brown
Skin Color: Light tan
Appearance: Most notable for wearing a silk tie (either red or black) to cover where his eyes would be, he only changes his appearance when necessary, such as travelling between Sith and Jedi-occupied areas. He currently wears clothing that allows him to blend in with the archaeologists he followed to the planet of Korriban.
Personality: Aelor is a quiet sort and a lone wolf. His training in the Force has been mostly solitary, as his Miralukan bloodline allows him to move with the ebb and flow of the Force. He wishes to learn anything and everything regarding the nature of the Force, and he isn’t going to hesitate in killing Jedi or Sith to learn more. He won’t hesitate to save Jedi or Sith either, if it means receiving more knowledge and/or experience in the ways of the Force. He does not (necessarily) discriminate between Light and Dark, as it is part of one Force.
Nonetheless, if he must kill, he will, and he will use the full capability of his Force training, knowledge and experience to do so without regret. He is cold and calculating when set of the death of another, be he or she Master or apprentice, civilian or soldier, friend or foe.
When not fighting, however, he can seem cheerful enough, focused more on his study than his peers. He will not turn away a companion, unless he or she has outlived their usefulness. He is always cautious and will learn all he can about a companion so that he is always five steps ahead in planning to either kill or exile his companion from service.
Speaks, Reads & Writes Miralukese, Sithese and Basic
Equipment: Standard-Issue Field Kit, Vibroblade (Black hilt, vibration effect makes the blade look like it’s bleeding)

Backstory: Aelor Kyr is a Miraluka born on the Miralukan adopted planet, Alpheridies. The fall of the Empire was a whisper in the wind on this planet. There was no grand celebration here like on the other planets conquered by the Empire. The people here had a long memory, and Katarr and the homeworld were still fresh in the minds of the old and the young. Other than those who had left the planet in their wanderlust, the equilibrium was undisturbed. There was no urge to explore, no urge to push the boundaries, no urge to be something more.
This is what Aelor had written in the first of many entries regarding the quiet of his home since leaving Alpheridies. He left the planet, not in search of excitement, but in search of knowledge. He wanted to learn about the many facets of the universe. Being Miralukan, his interests always leaned towards learning the Force. His race is naturally Force-sensitive, but his curiosity and desire made him moreso. Unbiased, the elders of his family and some of his teachers told him and taught him about the Light Side and Dark Side of the Force. They would not teach him their techniques, since they did not know them, but he would hear stories of the Jedi Civil War and the Mandalorian Wars. He was told about Revan and about Meetra Surik and about Visas Marr. He became disinterested in those stories, about Revan’s power in the Dark Side and Surik’s guidance of the elder Jedi and Visas’ role in Surik’s destruction of Malachor V. It didn’t matter to him. Aelor Kyr wished to taste the power of the Dark Side and the Light Side as one. They were two mighty powers that exist as one all-powerful Force.
Leaving Alpheridies was the natural decision. He boarded a shuttle to leave and was on his way to Coruscant. There, he met with a new faction of the Jedi Council, having “graduated” from the teachings of Luke Skywalker. With this group, he began to understand and grasp some teachings of the Light Side. He didn’t get far enough to become a Padawan. The Master that led this new Council could feel something in Aelor.
It was a darkness that festered inside him. It was similar to the power that was felt on Katarr that obliterated the Jedi Council there all those centuries ago. It was as if he was there and he watched Darth Nihilus do it, instead of Visas Marr. But at the same time, it felt as if Aelor was the one who perpetrated the crime, as if he himself was Darth Nihilus. After receiving a sealed gift from a female Twi’lek in the group, said to be something from the Crystal Caves of Dantooine after they were rediscovered, Aelor was cast out from the group.
Feeling great anger for such unmitigated gall in rejecting him, he could feel the call of the Dark Side. It felt like a warm embrace. He knew of its power and its brutal code, but, according to this peace-loving Jedi Master who is suppose to accept all peoples, Aelor was a monster that would fit in no problem. With that, Aelor snuck aboard a ship of archaeologists charted to go to Korriban, the ancient Sith homeworld, to learn from new Masters and to understand the contrast of the Light from the Dark.
It was here he found his equipment: a standard-issue field kit stolen from the decayed body of a Sith officer who met an end as a result of a Shyrack ambush, and a vibroblade deeper into the cave. It was a dark blade, and he could feel that its former user was Force-sensitive like him, tempted by the Dark Side. The student had not received his or her lightsaber yet, so he or she commissioned or crafted this sword. Something in the cortosis weave or vibration cell made the metal blade look like it leaked red fluid, similar to blood in texture and appearance, but there was no actual blood on the blade.
After finishing a meal of Tuk’ata meat, Aelor then remembered the gift he received from the Twi’lek female. On it was a note that read, “This is for you. May your journey to the Force be illuminated as you wander through the darkness.” He could only smile as he opened the container. He could see the Force energy in the item as he picked it up. Almost immediately, he watched as this crystal began to pulse and vibrate in equal parts Light and Dark. No one else could see this except a Miraluka. This was picked out for him by sense alone. He set the crystal in his field pack, treasuring it as his only tie to the Light Side. He could see Coruscant in his mind’s eye, and he smiled wider.
He knew that, however, this gift would be his only tie to his past. That foolish Master exiled him; Aelor would be sure to make him pay for such a decision. He had to close his heart. He had to model himself after the death around him. He had to embody Exar Kun, Jerec, Ajunta Pall, Darth Bane... All these evil, cruel men had to be his idols. Jerec is also Miralukan, and he was an Inquisitor! Aelor took that example to heart and committed himself to that ideal of power at the price of peace. His goal to understand the Force will now take him into the depths of the Dark Side. His only fear was that he would become lost in his search to understand the full power of the Force by wading through this black swamp.
