This thread contains descriptions and stat blocks for various Legends and NuCanon characters, with a few fanon NPCs as well. These stat blocks work a little differently than a normal character sheet.
They open with some basic information: picture, name, species, Nature/Demeanor, etc. The first thing that requires commentary is the entry that reads "Gather Information DC: Rumor." This is pretty straight-forward, it shows rumors about the character that players can learn by making Gather Information Checks, sorted by Difficulty Class. Next comes Effective Character Level. While many NPCs will have an equal number of class levels to their effective character levels, others may have abilities not well reflected by any existing Path or Class and thus will have an ECL higher than their total class levels. Such Effective Levels function like any other level for purposes of rolls, etc. HP for Effective Levels is d8 + Con mod and Force Well increase is 10 + Spr mod. After ECL comes Classes. NPCs are less restricted than PCs, and so long as they have at least four levels of a Basic Path or Starting Class, they can have any combination of Paths and classes which accurately represents that character's abilities. HP is not listed in NPC stat blocks because this allows GMs to adjust the NPC's HP anywhere between its minimum and maximum to better suit a fair challenge for the players. Force Well, Core Stats and Saves all work normally. After that comes the meat of this method, the Signature Abilities. Each NPC has Signature Combat Proficiencies, Skills, Perks and (if Force-sensitive) Force Powers listed. These are the abilities that the NPC will always have in every appearance; signature combat, skills and force powers are always considered to have full Ranks and a Focus. Everything else about the NPC's abilities is totally up to the discretion of whatever GM is using them at the time.
Though this article is marked "work in progress" even after it is completed it will still be semi-regularly changed and updated as new characters or factions are added.
Table of Contents
1. Obsidian Union
2. New Republic
3. First Order
4. Unaligned
